Upcoming Events

children_around_globeMomentum builds around the globe in support of
teaching mindfulness to our future generations.

Two exciting national conferences, coming in early 2014, bring together leaders in the field with the people putting mindfulness education into practice.

In the Pacific Northwest, the University of Washington’s Center for Child and Family Well-Being starts off the new year with a daylong Mindful Parenting workshop by Jon and Myla Kabat-Zinn. The Center is also sponsoring an 8-week course by Dr. Richard Berger on Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction for Professionals Working with Children and Parents.

Even if you don’t attend an event, we encourage you to go to the sponsoring links (listed below). The descriptions of presenters and their work will inform and inspire you.  Check out their websites for practical applications — you’ll often find videos and free downloadable pdfs.
